Creating Art with Passion and Fire

About Me

I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. As a youth I studied drawing and water colors under New Brunswick artist, Steven Smith. From there I continued to develop my skills as a self-taught oil and acrylic painter. After high school I attended the University of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, studying; English, Fine Art, metalsmithing, photography and fashion design. In 2015 I moved to Victoria, BC where I continued my artistic path, adding pyrography to my portfolio.  In 2017 I moved back to New Brunswick and had the opportunity to take an encaustic class with Nova Scotia artist Sarah Petite, I instantly fell in love with the medium and have primarily focused on acrylic, encaustic and pyrography since then. The exploration of art and self-expression drives my passion. I work in oil, acrylic, charcoal, ink, water color, pyrography, encaustic, gunpowder and mixed media.
